Matt O’Donnell (aka MattO) moved to San Francisco from Minneapolis in 2001 to attend The Academy of Art University where he studied film and editing and received his BFA.

Matt's love affair with video and film began at a young age. He would abscond with his parents VHS camcorder to create his own short films and mock commercials. Late in high school he was introduced to Final Cut Pro. It was at that point that his hobby became an obsession. Matt's video production instructor was the first to tell him that he was spending too much time on schoolwork.

Outside of Phoenix, MattO directs, produces and edits various short and feature film projects. He also sleeps when time permits.
