Lisa Hinman serves as President of Phoenix Edit, Effects & Design and was one of the original founders of the company back in the fall of 1991. Lisa has been involved with the film and video business since 1975. She was with Editel/SF (formerly known as One Pass) from 1988-1991 where she was first brought in as the Executive Producer of Special Effects & Graphics and later served as the Director of Commercial Sales. Prior to Editel, she was the Senior Producer at The Bayne Group (1984-88), a SF-based commercial production company. Before coming to California, she was a television director at production houses and television stations in Philadelphia and Cleveland, where she also worked independently as a film and video editor.

For many years, Lisa has also been involved with the AICE, the Association of Independent Creative Editors, a trade association which represents the interests of independent creative editorial companies and their editors within the advertising and production industries in the United States and Canada. She has been the San Francisco representative to the AICE's International Board for eight years and currently serves as the organization's President.
