"Zany," "offbeat" and "unique" are a few of the words we often hear used to describe the work of Phoenix's Jim Farber. To that Farber says, "I don't know about 'zany' but 'offbeat' is a good one. I think I have a sensibility that is a bit left of center. I'm definitely not cookie-cutter." And fans say of Farber himself that he is "razor sharp", "fun to be around" and "one of the best kept secrets in the business." Jim is first and foremost a storyteller adept at bringing creative concepts to life. He combines his own brand of likeable humor with an artist's eye for the well-constructed frame.

Jim grew up in Allentown, PA and went to film school at American University in Washington, D.C. "My childhood was a bit too normal. I think I've spent a considerable portion of my life making up for that."

When he isn't in an edit suite, Jim can be found in his wine cellar, checking out new music, searching for nudibranchs or injuring himself on a softball field.
