aaron owen - assistant editor

Aaron Owen, raised in the great state of Iowa, came to Phoenix Edit Effects & Design in the Fall of 2003.  In addition to his post production expertise, Aaron is also an experienced videographer and often shoots for Phoenix projects.  Prior to his relocation to San Francisco, Aaron garnered knowledge and honed his technical skills at the NBC affiliate KWWL in Waterloo, Iowa (market #88 for those in the know) and illustratedMan in St. Louis.  For two years Aaron headed the video department at Young Life’s Woodleaf program. There he shot, edited and produced one 2-minute video every week for 3 months.  For the past three years he has done the same for the annual MCYM mission in Slovakia.
 
While we don’t allow Aaron to have much spare time, when he is allowed to leave the building, he tries to spend as much time outdoors as possible – mountain biking, skiing, traveling and reading technical manuals.
